Time away from Family is hard ...
Strange amalgamation of feelings ...
Excitement for new experiences, fear of unknown, sadness for being away from family, aspiration of achievements, and this strange feeling in my stomach ... like when I was a little boy, trying to sleep the day before a big trip.
Ready or not, here I come!

Welcome to the NEW Site!

Well everybody, the new site is ONLINE!!! I hope you enjoy it. I am going to be working on it a lot more consistently. I hope that it will be a great tool for me to publish some of the experiences that I am going through.

In recent news, I had two more of my wisdom teeth out. Man, that HURT! ... my lower left tooth developed a dry socket, and it is PAINFUL! I have been having to go to the dentist every couple of days, and it is definitely on the mend, so that is a relief. Despite all my grief about my teeth, it is nothing in comparison to the suffering the people at the Maryville First Baptist Church must be going through.

I sincerely pray that God will bring some peace to the families effected. What a horrible tragedy. It really is eye-opening, and makes one think of how fragile and unpredictable life truly is. Yet another meaningless loss of life. What a shame.

WiiMote Guitar Mod

This is totally crazy. These guys name VivianDarkBloomBand ... they modded a WiiMote to be able to do crazy guitar effects through motion. I think this is absolutely brilliant. Take a look at the YouTube vid for the guy demoing it. 

Check them out at VivianDarkBloomBand.com . In other news Apple released some killer new lappys yesterday. Killer graphics, killer unibody "brick" type form factor, and killer looking machines. Would give my right thumb for one.

DECISIONS. AND ... Prius Police?!?!!

Well, friends, I have made a HUGE decision. Some of you may know what it is. Some of you may not ... but it is HUGE. I am very excited, nervous, and prayerful. I am hesitant to post it on the blog-o-sphere, so if you want to know ... gimme a call. BUT ... if you guys could just pray a little for me, that things will work out, and that everything will go to plan.

Well, there are two images that I ran across that I thought were extremely funny. Being a Star Trek fan ... (and I can't wait for XI btw) ... here are a couple of tributes to Picard. The Man. Jean-Luc Picard. AHH ... the genius behind the man. How relevant these images were to an event that just happened in my life, I thought it was divine intervention. Intervention to insert a little laughter into a dumb situation.
